Lithology and Thickness
It consists of rhythmic alternation of sandstones and siltstones with various thickness of rhythms with rare beds of sandstones, siltstones and gravelstones and underwater landslide deposits with a total thickness of more than 900 m.

Fossils
The lower part of the formation contains Hauterivian-Barremian and the upper part yields Barremian ammonites Haplocrioceras ex gr. remondi, Crioceratites sp., Barremites sp. ind. (Markevich et al., 2000).
